Jamdani is a fine muslin textile produced for centuries. It is a time-consuming and labour-intensive form of weaving because of the richness of its motifs, which are created directly on the loom using the discontinuous weft technique. The top has fine pintucks front and back with a loop opening. The hem is finished with checks and hand embroidery detail. The sleeves has an elasticated detail hem. The top does not come with a slip.

The variation in printing and dyeing is a prized characteristic of handcrafted products.
